Gone Fishin’ Derby
When: Saturday, June 16 | 8 AM to 9:30 AM
Where: Lake Glen Ellyn | 645 Lenox Road
Bring dad and whole crew for this early morning event! You have one hour to catch as many fish as you can. Awards for largest fish caught, smallest fish, most fish and best dressed fisherman will be given to participants. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required and no walk-up registration is available.
Father’s Day 2018 Wheaton Events
Outdoor Concert: Guitarra Azul & R-Gang
When: Sunday, June 17 | 10 AM to 4 PM
Where: Cantigny - Parade Field | 1S151 Winfield Road
Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for this two-band concert. Each band will take turns jamming from morning through afternoon! Guitarra Azul is a world class group that evokes spirited dance with irresistible rhythm! Food trucks will be available for snacks and meals.

Father’s Day at the Bavarian Lodge
When: Sunday, June 17 | Noon - 9 PM (bar open until 10 PM)
Where: Bavarian Lodge | 1800 Ogden Ave.
Bavarian Lodge is accepting reservations for parties of five or more. Walk-ins are welcome too! There will be a substantial wait if you don’t make a rez, however! Enjoy some amazing local and German beers as well as amazing food like duck wings, burgers and wiener schnitzel.

Daddy and Me at Nova Quarter Horses

Check out vintage Buicks and Cadillacs during a nice walk through downtown Frankfort. Visit local businesses, bring chairs and blankets and have some fun with community members and car aficionados. This is a free event and perfect for people who don’t have time over the weekend to celebrate with dad.
Concerts on the Green

Where: Frankfort Administration Building | Breidert Green
Enjoy live music downtown on the green! This is a free event available to community members. Bring dad, some sodas and a blanket to enjoy. This event is sponsored by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.

Gold Coast Art Fair

Where: S. Lake Shore Drive & E Monroe St.
View incredible artwork, live music, delicious food and amazing activities for kids at the Gold Coast Art Fair. If your dad is into the arts, this is an even you can’t miss! Bottle & Bottega is offering three classes per day. Valet parking is even available to make your day easier.
Spirit of Chicago Brunch and & Dinner Cruises

Where: Navy Pier
